Thank you, Emily, Cyril and Flannery for bringing this powerful wisdom and much-needed reminder to us today. Even if ideas or truths are presented to us in metaphors
or by other literary techniques, the meaning is the same. We must then place ourselves within that message and heed it. It is up to each of us to go deep within our souls to recognize, and to specifically identify by name the ‘dragons’ that taunt us, blind us, use us, try to keep us from Him by their false isms, inducements and all actions that are contrary to His Word and that keep us from full union with His Presence and His eternal love for us. He is ever there, waiting for us to turn to Him for help and for protection from the ‘dragons’ who seek our destruction….

Reminds me much of Pilgrims Progress and how the enemy of our souls in so many ways seeks to inject us with his venom. Lord help us to stay the course and stay on the path.
