Emily, it may not have occurred to you that your writing and the subject matter and people about whom you write, beginning with your own thoughts, are a beacon — a light on the path to soul-stirrring, transcendental personal discoveries. You seek out the unknown, the unfamiliar, and lay it out for your readers — as a feast to savor and inculcate into their own consciousness.
