Yes, we do take Him and His presence within us for granted. We sometimes take our loved ones and our friends for granted also. How often, after they have gone from our midst do we say, “I wish I had told (name) how much I loved him/her.” And after parents, grandparents, and older relatives have died, how often have we regretted that we didn’t take the time to ask them to tell us their stories so that we might record that history to pass on to our children and to succeeding generations. A life filled with regrets is like a weight hung around our neck.
