It’s all there, isn’t it? Jesus’ two great commandments – love of God and love of ALL our brothers and sisters

My reactions:
– Succinct. At first glance, seemingly simple – yet, fully absorbed into my consciiousness, profound….
– Challenging. Convicting. Holds a mirror before my soul, revealing any hurtful actions and attitudes I have shown
towards others, with a warning about the evils of controversy and division within the Body….
– Hopeful. A reminder that He is always present to us, ready to forgive and to restore us through his mercy and love.
Your last paragraph is a reminder to me of what the Lenten season is all about. It is a time for us to hold that mirror
to our souls, to take our moral temperature, and to ask Him to restore our spiritual health that has been tainted with the virus of sin.
