The sun comes up, it’s a new day dawning
It’s time to sing your song again
Whatever may pass and whatever lies before me
Let me be singing when the evening comes
Our presence on this earth is neither random nor meaningless. Each of us is known and loved by our Creator before we ever draw a breath. Some of us never do draw a breath; a few of us draw a century of breaths.
No matter what our time looks like, whatever may pass – whether short or long – we are able to sing forever about the love of our Father who cares enough to save us from ourselves when our troubles are deep.
He wraps us in His arms at the end of each day and greets us with each new day’s dawning.
Bless the Lord, O my soul.
This year’s Lenten theme for Barnstorming is a daily selection from songs and hymns about Christ’s profound sacrifice on our behalf.
If we remain silent about Him, the stones themselves will shout out and start to sing (Luke 19:40).
In His name, may we sing…
