  1. Much to think about here.
    Buechner is so right! He is such a consistently good, common sense writer. The problem is, to quote an old adage, ‘the spirit is willing but the flesh is {sometimes} weak.”
    Perhaps not a completely relevant quote in this instance, but it caused me to think about the reality of Buechner’s quote. Yes, each day is precious and will never come again in exactly the same way. The problem is, how best to notice and to appreciate its singular importance in our lives when we are assailed by a myriad of distractions and other demands on our thinking….
