Oh, Emily, today’s post is a beautiful prayer of acknowledgment and trust – and, mostly, faith.
We humans are always so impatient. We demand instant everything (and the sooner the
better) or we just move on, always seeking that answer, that gratification. Of course we do not find what we are looking for on our own so the endless cycle continues and eventually we find ourselves tangled in a web of fear and uncertainty.
‘May I accept what I cannot know…’ A powerful mantra when we are hedged in by unknowing and angst.
The first picture, the budding flower, is incredible, Emily. It is all there for us to meditate upon:
the little upturned ‘arms,’ waiting, waiting to receive the promised joy and fulfillment that is to come, that which will make it whole again.
Your selections today brought tears to my soul once again, Emily.
